Times they are a changing, for Identica this seems very apt. They've seen a lot of users move to Google+ because the posting style suits them better. They've upgraded the UI to include new features and a new look but the combined effect hasn't been good. It's been downright frustrating for many of us.

I've used Gwibber on and off with mixed feelings. Now I use more than just Identica, it's a useful single client. I did notice an odd thing however, and I don't know what triggered it, nor how to remove it; a monkey icon. After some exploring I did find out how, although there must be a more user freindly method than this.

So Identi.ca went through a major upgrade, it was down a little longer than expected but that's alright. It came back all new and improved. There are lots of issues people have with it, it affected some clients for one. Most of them are not that bad but the polls have made groups annoying.

The previous post was about my appearance on TINAP, which was very enjoyable, although the final output was a let down. This post is about TINAP itself and things I've noticed since being on that episode.

I perhaps should have blogged about my appearing on TINAP way back in the mists of time when it happened, but decided not to bother at the time. A conversation a few days ago on Identica made me think about doing these posts, although I wasn't sure. After some reflection I've decided to write them.
