Jump Reborn

I've had ideas for stories among other things for years. I've started plenty but never had the self determination to see them through to completion. One day I decided if I could actually complete a story, to see if the end result was as good as I thought it could be; or whether I was just fooling myself. The result is a short story called Jump.

The Digital Prism Screencast Relaunched

For those who subscribe to TechBytes or talk to me on Identi.ca or IRC you will have noticed I've become rather immersed in Drupal of late. I am currently building several Drupal sites at the same time, bouncing back and forth between them. The new home of the Digital Prism Screencast is just one of several.

My Initial Thoughts On Drupal 7

Yesterday I started playing with Drupal 7 since it hit final, and it's different. I am far too used to Drupal 6, so it's a case of unlearning some things to use Drupal 7. To be honest, I'm still kinda lost at times in the UI but that's just familiarity. I have a few obvious changes to relearn.

The Digital Prism Screencast

After some experimentation I can proudly announce the start of the Digital Prism Screencast. The introduction episode is finally up and ready to be viewed by anyone who is interested. This is still a very new venture for me, so I am still in the trial and error phase as yet.

Blogging With PyRoom

I've decided to try a little experiment, and start blogging with PyRoom. For the curious, PyRoom is not a blogging platform, nor am I switching my blog from Drupal, PyRoom is a distraction free plain text editor. I've chosen to use it to write my posts, starting with this one. So why do it this way instead of creating a post as usual in Drupal? A number of reasons.
