MintNanny is one of the Mint Tools. It's a GUI front end to the local hosts file enabling you to block websites from being accessed on the local PC. It's aimed at home users, parents etc. I talk through how to set it up, where to get blocklists and how to add them, as well as how blocking happens with DNS.

MintUpload is one of the Mint Tools, it's a simple drag & drop FTP / SFTP / SCP client. It allows multiple services, folders or sites to be set up for different purposes. It's a notification area widget and desktop widget.

MintBackup one of the Mint Tools, an easy to use GUI that allows you to easily backup and restore your documents, settings and installed applications. It can preserve permissions and check for corrupt transfers, as well as give the output options of a mirrored folder or compressed file.

MintUpdate one of the Mint Tools, a GUI that sits in the notifications area on the panel to alert you of updates to your system. It filters them in terms of stability to only show the most stable, and allows you to update your entire system with a click.
