Drupal

The sniping at each other from the higher ups at both RedHat and Canonical over who contributes more to what reminds me of a few things. A while back Canonical's Jono Bacon started something called Open Respect; why have people forgotten this?

I got a little bored of my previous theme, as cool as it is, so i decided a fresh look was in order. I didn't really have any ideas in mind of exactly what I was looking for, so for the first time in ages I found myself just browsing the themes section of Drupal.org to see what caught my eye. this is the result.

I've been exploring Drupal for two projects I'm working on. When I need some functionality, I tend to think that I'm not the first Drupal site builder who has thought of it, so there's every chance it's already in existence on Drupal.org. I've found a couple of little gems.

I've had ideas for stories among other things for years. I've started plenty but never had the self determination to see them through to completion. One day I decided if I could actually complete a story, to see if the end result was as good as I thought it could be; or whether I was just fooling myself. The result is a short story called Jump.

For those who subscribe to TechBytes or talk to me on Identi.ca or IRC you will have noticed I've become rather immersed in Drupal of late. I am currently building several Drupal sites at the same time, bouncing back and forth between them. The new home of the Digital Prism Screencast is just one of several.
